The search is on for South Australia’s top scientists, researchers, innovators and educators.
Celebrating 20 years in 2024, the SA Science Excellence and Innovation Awards raise the profile of exceptional STEMM professionals, and shine a well-deserving spotlight on the social, economic, health and/or environmental impacts of individuals and teams.
Applications are open now for you to enter yourself, your team or on behalf of someone else, in one of the following categories:
- South Australian Scientist of the Year
- South Australian Innovator of the Year
- PhD Research Excellence
- Excellence in Science and Industry Collaboration
- STEMM Educator of the Year – School (Primary or Secondary)
- STEMM Educator of the Year – Tertiary (University or Registered Training Organisation)
Winners receive prize money to support future work or career aspirations—$25,000 each for the South Australian Scientist of the Year and South Australian Innovator of the Year, and $10,000 each for the remaining winners.
