Questacon are bringing their unit of work 'Now You're Cooking: Designing Solar Ovens' to South Australia.

• McLaren Vale - Wednesday 18 October, 9am-3pm
• Adelaide - Friday 30 October, 9am-3pm
• Naracoorte - Tuesday 3 November, 4pm-6pm
• Mount Gambier - Thursday 5 November, 9am-3pm

Engineering is Elementary workshops will build your confidence and capacity to teach STEM in your classroom through:

• Getting hands-on experience with the activities in our integrated STEM units of work
• Learning how to build student knowledge of STEM content and develop teaching strategies to meet the learning needs of your students, and
• Gaining the confidence to teach STEM in your classroom through the engineering design process.

On completing the workshop, you will receive a resource kit and a unit of work enabling you to immediately implement Engineering is Elementary in your classroom. You will also be connected to a national community of practice of teachers for ongoing collaboration and support!
