Online submissions for the first round of projects has now closed. 

For coordinators with students entered into the Programming, Apps and Robotics category, the judging appointments page will be live until midnight on Wednesday 23rd July. Please encourage the students / parents concerned to make their appointments by this date.  

Note, if students are not able to attend on judging day, there is no further opportunity for judging in this category for this year.

Onsite labels...

You should have received your onsite labels by now - all were posted in an A5 white rigid mailer via Australia Post in the week ending Friday 20th June.

If you have not received your label package and you are expecting to receive one, please let Rebecca know by email to office@sasta.asn.au no later than Wednesday 2nd July. If they've gone missing in the post, they will need to be reprinted and resent.

Seeking Volunteers!

We're on the hunt for volunteers for Science Alive! (and the couple of days beforehand - drop-off, judging, set-up)! If you're able to give of your time, please click here to fill out the online volunteering form! 

Key Competition Dates 

Friday 4th to Sunday 20th July - offsite judging of projects submitted during June.

Monday 21st to Sunday 27th July - Crystal Investigation and Models & Inventions reports and risk assessments (Models & Inventions only) MUST be submitted online. Supporting videos for Games projects may also be submitted during this period.

Saturday 26th July - Programming, Apps and Robotics judging day **strictly by appointment only** 

Wednesday 30th July - Crystal Investigation, Games, Models & Inventions, Photography and Posters projects to be delivered onsite for judging. More precise details to come closer to the date.

Thursday 31st July - Round 2 Onsite Judging Day.

Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd August - Open Day at Science Alive!

Monday 4th August - Project Collection Day.

Friday 17th October - Presentation Ceremony (strictly by invitation only)

Friday 24th October - 2025 OSA Coordinators Celebration - join us for drinks and nibbles to celebrate your hard work!
