Young Women in STEM Program

Location: North Terrace Campus, the University of Adelaide.

At the University of Adelaide, we are passionate about supporting girls to explore STEM pathways. We are pleased to open registration for our 2024 Young Women in STEM Program.

We are offering opportunities for girls to experience STEM in a hands on engaging visit to our North Terrace Campus. This year marks the 19th year this event has taken place, and we want you to be part of the experience.

The event is aimed at girls in year 9 & 10. The participants will:

• Hear from role models studying and working in STEM fields
• Enjoy hands-on activities in a range of different STEM activities
• Learn from academic staff who engage in research and teach STEM subjects
• Enjoy the North Terrace campus and see our facilities
• Opportunity to engage with likeminded girls at other SA schools
• Lunch and morning tea included
